Christ’s birth & love with your neighbors, family & friends at Christmas. Some ideas...

  1. Mark the season using a 25 day advent calendar. Watch one door a day & prepare your heart with God 's creation & what that means with the gift that Christmas brings.

  2. Invite your friend, neighbor or family member to a lecture/talk or event - such as a Walking/Running group, Christmas/philosophical reading or Carol's.

  3. With friends or family be honest in having thoughtful conversations about the Journey of moderation before the 12 day Advent. Along with healthy food and conversing about Christmas traditions, consider a brief talk on the history & meaning, to you, & of Christmas & the Journey.

  4. Initiate spiritual  or thoughtful conversations. The Christmas season offers the opportunity to talk about spiritual things naturally. Ask the Lord/ Spirit of Christmas for opportunities to get to know your friends or family spiritually and share the hope you have in caring for God's gift of creation in all you do.

  5. Help elderly family members or their friends with continuing putting the Christmas Tree & decorations up & take them to plant a tree or take them shopping etc.

    6. Help those with less money for food by donating to a food bank healthy food if you can afford it.

    7. In your work & daily life try to always carry with you the respect of Gods gift of creation & see this in everything you do.

8.Give a thought to the emergency services by taking care of your health & those around you.

    9. Buy Christmas gifts for a less fortunate family, for children at a local children’s home if you can afford it.

  10. Send Christmas cards that include Bible verses and write a short prayer of blessing over the recipient for the new year.

  11. Visit & support a local National park for health walking or running & find healing in God's creation.

  12. Give your local children’s school Peace beads for the Tree as a keep sake...
