Advent organic lunches or dinners on the Journey to the gift of God's creation.
Gone are the days when every day through December is a Christmas celebration & now we can really think about the real meaning of this celebration & the journey up to the Christmas day itself in health & the gift of God's creation.
Some fast throughout in the Orthodox & celebrate the feast days.
I, however, celebrate in health with quality food & think of those who have none & when I have also been in that situation myself....
The quality of the food is far more important to our lives in more ways than just one person. As the environment is also important in caring for the gift of God's creation.
Nutrition with quality in small amounts is far more important than just quantity.
Sparkling mineral water a must on my list with a slice of lime or lemon. However, this Christmas I may try some sparkling Tea, as a treat.
The soil needs time to be able to absorb the nutrients from a crop to follow the main one & as a result we build an environment of health with organic matter rather than pesticides.
Small meals throughout Christmas Advent with hope in our hearts that all will have a beautiful 12 days of Christmas in health.

Advent dinner at Christmas for work & other gatherings with meaning might be instead of Christmas dinner through Advent a resemblance of the Journey towards Christmas day with reflection & meaning of the meal & journey. A piece of beautiful fish with cured salmon & fennel & bread and the rest of the 24 days as you would, but not Christmas dinner until the 25th December & a celebration of the 12 days of Christmas.
